This privacy policy notice is served by Compassionate Paws International, a registered charity (#1191988) under the website; www.compassionatepaws.org. The purpose of this policy is to explain to you how we control, process, handle and protect your personal information through the charity and while you browse or use this website. If you do not agree to the following policy you may wish to cease viewing / using this website, and or refrain from submitting your personal data to us.

Where our purpose for processing is:-
Sending our newsletter to all donors and people who have entered their email to request our email newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you are free to unsubscribe at any time.

Recording of the minimum information legally required by the UK’s tax office, HMRC, for the processing of Gift Aid donations (name, address including post-code, donation amount and date).

Internal recording of donations received for accounting purposes (name, email, donation date and amount).

We process your information in the following ways:

The names and email addresses of donors are kept securely on a spreadsheet in a private Google Drive folder, only accessibly by CPI trustees and a Chartered Accountant. Gift Aid declarations are also kept in the same way. Email addresses and credit or debit card details are processed by GDPR-compliant third party software: Stripe, Raisely, PayPal and Wix.
Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis until you withdraw consent or it is determined your consent no longer exists.
Sharing your information: Compassionate Paws International does not share any of the personal data.
Cookies
We use cookies to collect browsing data, through Facebook and WIX’s analytical tool. This saves information such as your geographical location, search term and number of pages viewed.
