A cat named Ginger – abandoned with an eye infection

CPI’s, Sarah Morris, came across Ginger when she was walking home late one evening. He had been abandoned inside a cardboard box outside a closed veterinary surgery. He had severe conjunctivitis that had sealed his eyes completely shut and he was meowing furiously from his box. After cleaning his eyes with some warm salty water, Ginger was able to see again, and was happy to play with Sarah’s rescued dog, Percy. After three months, Sarah was able to find an animal-loving family to adopt him.
